Paraclete People

Paraclete is a Greek word that means to come alongside. It can mean counselor, advocate or helper. In the New Testament it's used both for Jesus and the Holy Spirit. As the CEO of Paraclete, one of my roles is to come alongside those who come alongside. Each year I do a ministry review with all of the Paraclete associates. Most of the reviews can be done in person. Some have to be done via Skype video conference. This is one of the things I enjoy most about my role. It puts me in direct contact with some amazing servants, and I get to hear first hand how the kingdom is being served by their ministries. With Bill and Marty Sturdivant (above) who were accepted last week, we are now 25 associates. Bill and Marty come to Paraclete after ministry in Poland, England and Oregon. They learned to love Muslim ministry in London and that will be there focus in Paraclete. Most of the associates will gather in September in Palmer Lake, CO for our annual gathering. We can't wait!

Looking for a place to serve? Know someone who is looking? Paraclete needs senior missionaries and Christian professionals with a vision for coming alongside the rapidly growing church around the world. Call us!
