What's Happening with Carl, Jamie and Yael? What About Culver?

Carl, Jamie and Yael wishing Yael's G-Gpa (Dad Cook)
a socially distanced Happy Birthday

On June 30, our son Carl will finish 8 years of teaching Middle School and High School at Atlas Preparatory School here in Colorado Springs.  He has accepted a job as Vice Principal at Strive Federal Middle School in Denver for the 2020-2021 school year, starting mid-July.  They will be moving north in the next month.  While we are sad that they will be an hour farther up the road, we're very excited for this opportunity.  We will definitely be traveling up to Denver more often! Yael turns 2 in September and we are enjoying watching her grow, expand her world and her vocabulary.  What a treat it has been to have them just 20 minutes away for these past years! (Please pray for the Lord's provision of a place for them to live in Denver, it's expensive!)
Yael all geared up to ride behind Grandpa on his bike!
The bumpier the better as far as she's concerned!
Carl and Jamie made their masks. We were tickled to see Yael's tiny mask!

We are grateful that both our sons were able to keep working during the Stay-at-Home orders of the last months.  Culver's work as assistant manager at Dutch Brother's Coffee was deemed essential, so apart from a two-week quarantine due to possible Covid-19 exposure (which he did not contract), he has adjusted to a new normal.  The drive through coffee experience shifted to no cash--only credit card sales, everybody working with masks and gloves, and LOTS of disinfecting.  Culver enjoys interfacing with socially starved customers whose only trip out of the house has been to get a cup of coffee!  He's working towards a manager position.  He lives with three other guys and keeps busy.  We don't see him nearly often enough!
