A December Wedding!

We are delighted to announce that Carl has asked Ms. Jamie Zehner to be his bride! They became engaged at the end of July and are planning a December 18 wedding. Carl and Jamie have been very intentional in including us in their lives and it has been sheer delight watching their relationship develop and their love grow.

We are looking forward to having a lot of friends and family join us for the event. If you don't get an invitation, but want to attend, let us know! You're welcome. The wedding party itself, is a total family affair. My Dad, Norm Cook, will perform the ceremony (he did ours almost 33 years ago)! Jamie's three adopted sisters from Ethiopia will be maid of honor, bridesmaid and flower girl. Culver is Carl's best man and Jamie's brother, Barrett, the other groomsman. Some of Carl's friends and Jamie's cousins will be ushers.

Jamie is the Outreach Coordinator for our church, Mountain Springs, and has a real heart for God's work, locally and around the world! Jamie graduated from CSU Pueblo with a degree in Outdoor Leadership. Much of their courtship was spent snowshoeing, hiking, walking and other outdoor activities. We are thrilled that Jamie will be our daughter!

Carl and Jamie plan to continue living in Colorado Springs for the time being. We look forward to many more happy family times together!

There is a slide show of Carl and Jamie in the right panel.
