England and Austria

You may remember that friends gave us the trip of a life time! On June 1 we traveled to England and spent 10 golden days with our dear friends Andrew and Val Steele. We based ourselves in their home in Keighley, West Yorkshire and they took us all over the country side!


The flowers were out in all their splendor. We visited many lovely historical sites, hiked, drove and soaked in British life and culture. For me, it was a dream come true. I felt like someone had opened the books I have loved and treasured all my life and let us walk into them. On one hike, I was sure James Harriott was going to come around the corner at any moment, vet bag in hand! However, the highlights were all the wonderful people we met and reconnected with! Andrew and Val gave us the royal tour. It was such a treat to see significant places that we had heard about from them over our many years of friendship.

In Austria we visited Paraclete associates, Dick and Pat Worden. It was good to get a first hand taste of their busy life and ministry. There too, we saw many historical things, but the standouts were the people who God has touched through Dick and Pat's ministry! God was so good to provide us with the trip of a lifetime!
