Carl continues to work at R.E.I. His stash of quality sports equipment continues to grow as he takes advantage of great employee discounts and sales. One thing he enjoys when he can squeeze it in, is a weekly 5K run sponsored by one of the restaurants in downtown Colorado Springs.Carl did a lot of camping, hiking and fishing this summer. (He just climbed his first 14,000 foot mountain!) His enthusiasm for rock climbing was contagious and soon Culver joined him. They spent a lot of time rock climbing both in a gym and outdoors. (As you can imagine, Mom and Dad pray hard while they do it!)
Glen was able to join the boys on one of their camping and climbing adventures this summer.
Culver painted houses all summer, learned about hard work, got a great tan and decided he doesn't want to paint houses for a living! He is taking a full load of classes at Pikes Peak Community College this fall and looking for another job.
