Paraclete Associates Gather

"Paracleters" got together recently in the beautiful setting of Missionary Training International (MTI) in Monument, Colorado.  Associates are dispersed and don't gather often, so it was a blessing to have most of us in one place for a few days.  The Paraclete board met for a day and then associates arrived for a Thursday - Sunday "retreat."

That term doesn't fully describe the time.  This year's theme was "Together." We shared together, prayed together, played together and covered some business together.  MTI was a great venue for us.  They don't rent out their facility very often, because they use it themselves for most of the year.  The building was designed to enhance community, and we were blessed to enjoy it.
Sharing this year was particularly meaningful because many associates had not seen each other for 18 months, when we met for our last retreat.  There were many joys and sorrows to catch up on.  New associates were meeting the group for the first time.  There was a lot of ministry to share and many opportunities for networking and collaboration.
