Monument Academy

During Carl's enforced rest due to his foot surgery this Spring, he worked on his resume and got caught up on life. The first fruit of his labor came when he was accepted into a Master's of Education program through Western State here in Colorado. Then, several days later he was called in for an interview at Monument Academy (about 40 minutes away from here) and got the job!

Carl is teaching History (his favorite subject) to 7th and 8th graders. He is also working part time as the school Athletic Director. His hours are long and arduous--a twelve hour day is not unusual, as well as attending a game or two on Saturdays. When he finishes his "work" then he has his Master's work to do. He doesn't get much sleep.  However, if anybody can manage this kind of schedule, Carl can! We are proud of him.
