For the first time in all our years in Colorado we were snowed out of not one, but two women's events I was to speak for! The first was a Kitchen Table Counseling Seminar in Broomfield, CO. It has been rescheduled for May 9.The other was a weekend retreat for Sky View Presbyterian Church. The afternoon we would have been traveling to the retreat, two cars were covered by an avalanche on the pass that we would have driven over. We are still working on a date to reschedule and thankful that we were protected.
I was so thankful to the Lord for the "gift" of time. Because of the snow days, I was able to make unexpected progress writing the book and also got some much needed rest.
