We continue to be delighted to have Carl living at home! He is working full time at R.E.I. (Recreational Equipment Incorported, a great company with a good reputation). He was recently given a raise, has been trained in other areas of the store and came home with a framed commendation signed by the President of the company for service above and beyond.He is enjoying the Colorado outdoors, camping, fishing, hiking, biking and, most recently, rock climbing.
Culver will turn 18 on May 24 and graduate from High School on May 28. He has been accepted for the fall semester at Pike's Peak Community College, a 20-30 minute drive from home. He's not sure what direction he wants to go in study-wise. Pike's Peak has a solid reputation for a good education and personalized instruction. We're praying that Culver will find what really "rings his bells!"
Culver continues to make the rounds of businesses, filling out applications and leaving resumes, trying to find another job. This economic climate is a tough one in which to be job hunting.
