COICOM, a gathering of Christian that work in the media, will meet this year in Mar Del Plata, Argentina. I've been on the board of COICOM since it was founded in 1992. The event takes place every year in a different Latin American country, making it difficult because we work with a new team every year. The blessing of the approach is that COICOM gets to see what is happening in the church around the region, and gets to support the church in different nations by bringing in resources. In spite of great economic turmoil, (or perhaps because of it) COICOM President Arnold Enns is uncovering a great movement of God's Spirit and high interest in this year's convention. Read an account of his recent trip to Argentina and his appeal for scholarships in Arnold's email to me.
