27--29 Speak for Women's Retreat for the six churches of the Fundamentos Firmes congregations
30-31 Teach Kitchen Table Counseling for the Fundamentos Firmes Bible school,
10/4-5 Speak for Women's Retreat for Iglesia Bautista de La Capital, hosted by my dear friend Annita Hoagland
October 3-6 Glen in Corvallis, OR for Bridge Builder's Int'l meetings. He is now their board Chair.
October 6-11 Vacation in Breckenridge, CO, thanks to a dear friend (our only vacation this year!).
October 23-29 Glen and Shelly in Bay Area of California, Glen has Paraclete related meetings, and we will visit with friends and partners.
25-27 Shelly speaking for Valley Church's Women's retreat at Redwood Camp in the Santa Cruz Mountains
November 6-10 Glen and Shelly in El Salvador for the COICOM convention (Not yet sure what our speaking/ministry responsibilities will be.)
10-14 Glen possibly in Guatemala for COICOM board meetings
November 10-End of the Year We hope that Dad will come for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Prayer Points:
- For Shelly's Dad and what his life will look like once we leave for Fall ministry and Milei and Scott (my sister and husband) return to responsibilities in California.
- Shelly giving a new message series for the Valley Church women--to be able to effectively finalize prep in the midst of busy ministry schedule
- For Glen and the challenges of working "on the road", wisdom for the many decisions as CEO of Paraclete. For continued capacity to deal with the many things that come at him each day.
- For special times of connection and community during our Paraclete board meetings and staff conference.
- For language, health and to be in the moment, listening to God for the needs of the women Shelly encounters in Mexico.
- For restoration and sweet fellowship for Glen and me during our vacation.
- For significant impact and ministry as we express our thanks to Valley Church for generously continuing to stand with us in prayer and finances!
- To get to the bottom of the fainting episodes and long struggles with infections for Shelly.
- That regardless of where we are and who we are with we will be a blessing and stir a hunger in others to know God.
