Our Kids

Our Carl and Jamie are busy at Atlas Preparatory School.  Carl is teaching AP History at the High School level, Spanish 1 and 2, and coaching football.  Jamie continues as the Truancy coordinator, trying to find creative ways to prevent truancy before it starts! They have many friends and enjoy playing all kinds of games. The four of us enjoyed a hike together a few weeks ago--note the bird who photo-bombed the shot!

Culver has moved back to Colorado Springs from Denver.  He's juggling many jobs.  His "regular" job is working at Dutch Brothers Coffee.  He's a natural for interacting with customers and brightening their day.  He also does demo work for Hardwood Café, tearing out old flooring, and prepping for new hardwood floor.  Hardwood Café is owned by our friend Tom Narwold.  Due to a bad hail storm that blew through here in August, he's also got 8 roofing jobs (including our roof) that he's managing for All About Roofing--a locally based company that he's worked for off and on for years.

When he's not working, he enjoys spending time with Karen Robards, his girlfriend of nearly a year. They hike and rock climb, as well as develop their Amway businesses together!
