We are both
travelling this week. Pray for Shelly as she flies to San Diego this
morning (Wednesday), then travels by car into Mexico this afternoon.
She’ll be speaking six times to women on themes of spiritual life, missions and
lay counseling. I’m headed to Florida for three days to celebrate my
mother’s 80th birthday.

Bill Eckert,
Paraclete’s new Operations manager, was on the job full time as of
Tuesday. We met Monday to coordinate work. Pray for Bill as he
works on numerous projects to upgrade our systems and prepare them to move from
Gilbert.

Let’s praise the
Lord for his strong financial provision for Paraclete in August. Mission
wide giving was very good last month. August is not usually a strong
month.
