As CEO of Paraclete, Glen’s multiple hats keep him very busy and challenged. Currently he is orchestrating the transition of a new Operations Manager and plans to move the office from Arizona to Colorado Springs. As a part of that, he spent 2 and 1/2 weeks in Phoenix in early July. I joined him for most of that time. We were thankful for air conditioning—at times it was 112 degrees in the SHADE!! We put on accounting hats, balanced the books, handled donations, processed expense reports, kept our missionaries (we call them associates) from missing paychecks, etc… As we did that unglamorous (sometimes discouraging) work, my heart was full of gratitude to God for our amazing associates and the many faithful donors who keep their (and our) ministries going. Glen is also responsible for all Paraclete publications and if you have seen Perspectives, you’ve seen what represents a lot of work on his part. He continues to interface with our associates, pursue and follow-up with new applicants, represent Paraclete in various arenas, managing large and small details, while continuing to mentor younger men and lead our small group. I am full of admiration and respect for the man I married!
