Incoming!

Incoming Associates, that is! One of the things we have to be thankful for this year is the bumper crop of new associates. At right, (or above on your phone) are John and Linn Crowe with Shelly and me during their interview last month in North Carolina.   Shelly and I are deeply involved in the process of recruiting and interviewing these folks.  Here's the line up in the order they joined us.

CJ Callahan

CJ is a worship leader. If you were at the retreat you were blessed by her. She has served alongside several Paraclete associates and with other ministries. CJ just got back from a major trip. Her Facebook page looked like she had way too much fun to call it a ministry trip!

George and Heather Jemison

George and Heather have just moved to Chang Mai, Thailand, from the Chicago area. George will be working as a therapist at Cornerstone Counseling Center that serves the area missionary community. Heather will be serving with the International Justice Mission to combat human trafficking and other abuse.

David Emch

David is also a therapist, and he also plans to work with Cornerstone in Chang Mai, but he and the Jemisons have never met! He finished his residency at Cornerstone earlier this year. David is in the U.S. working on fundraising and continuing education. His future work will focus on children and teenagers.

Roger and Jan Orner

Roger and Jan both grew up as MKs. Right out of college, they were counseled away from missions by a sending agency! But they never went far. After a career in engineering Roger and Jan are continuing a life long interest in missions and missionaries by coming alongside them as Paraclete associates.

John and Linn Crowe

John and Linn have been running an organization call Missionary Resource Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. MRC offers debriefing, retreats, loaner cars and medical coaching. MRC will continue as a ministry of Paraclete, while turning over the admin and compliance burdens to Paraclete.

Cindy Stipp

Cindy just joined us a few weeks ago. She lives in Crestline, California, where her husband is a pastor. Cindy will be working with Aphesis leading community groups through the "Untying the Knots of the Heart" course, and representing Aphesis in Southern California.

Jeff Lander

Jeff is our newest associate. He comes to us from Children of the Nations International, an organization that works with orphaned and vulnerable children in five countries. Jeff served there in a variety of roles, most recently as Spiritual Care Director. Jeff has a large network and is looking forward to taking his current work to a broader network with Paraclete from his family's home base in Silverdale, WA.

Clayton Zylstra

Clayton is our newest Paraclete board member. He is a data engineer working in the medical field in the Denver metro area. Clayton and his wife, Hanna, met on the OM ship, Logos. They have three children and live in Lakewood, Colorado.

Pretty amazing lineup, isn't it? And there are others in the pipeline! Talk it up! All these folks came to us via personal relationships with associates and friends of Paraclete.
