Shelly in Chihuahua

Glen and I have spent much of 2018 preparing to travel, traveling and recovering from travel so we can turn around and go again!  We have participated in board meetings for several organizations including Paraclete.  We had the joy, once again, of teaching the missionary candidates at Mission Aviation Fellowship in Nampa, ID on Crossing Cultures.  We love doing it together sharing, with younger ones who come behind us, what we've learned over the years!

This year we've also met with some of our Paraclete associates for annual reviews. We are so blessed at how our people are touching lives for God's glory! Last weekend, I spoke on the Goodness of God at a women's retreat for Forestgate Pres. Church here in Colorado and the Lord did deep work! This week we are preparing to attend a COICOM board meeting in Orlando, visiting with several we have mentored over the years, meeting with prayer and financial supporters and squeezing in a visit with Glen's mom who is in an assisted living facility.

Four days after returning from Florida, I leave for 10 days of Spanish ministry in Chihuahua.  All my public meetings (8 of them) will be in Spanish, as will most of the one-on-one meetings. Part of my time will be spent with 52 missionary women of Ethnos360 (New Tribes Mission).  My ticket was bought on credit and we are trusting that God will provide the $1,100 necessary for travel and expenses.  For a picture, more details and/or to invest in this opportunity, go to:

Of course, my biggest request and your greatest investment is prayer.  And BOY!! Do I need it!  The enemy has presented me/us with multiple challenges!  We are persevering, believing that God wants to work through me and the enemy of our souls isn't happy about it.  Please pray for special anointing from the Holy Spirit, unusual wisdom, insight and recall as I listen to women's heart aches and challenges.  Also, please lift me up for strength and energy, protection from illness, and extraordinary language skills!

Be watching for a report in March!
