A Mini-Sabbatical!

Is that even a thing? Sabbaticals are supposed to be restoring times when calendars and clocks are banished. Can you do that as a "mini"? We'll see. "Mini sabbatical" is what Shelly started calling her August, and the term stuck. As an interested third party (not on sabbatical) it has seemed to work for her. In practical terms, it has meant sleeping in, lots of time reconnecting with family and friends, some hikes, gardens and hammocks,no speaking engagements, and no message prep. I tried to facilitate. That meant some additional work around the house for me, prepping a new phone and computer for her, so those tools would be ready upon return to "normal" life, and travelling to California with her for a visit with her sister and family. She can report for herself next month!
