Praise God for his abundant financial
blessing. The Paraclete financial reports for April were even better than
we had expected!

We are rejoicing for a great family
weekend. Thanks for praying. We went to Gunnison for Carl’s
graduation from his master’s program on Saturday. The day before we were
able to see our grandson and his mom who are now living there. On Sunday
we had a party for Carl for the family and friends who couldn’t make the trip
to Gunnison.

We are happy to be home for a while--time to
turn our attention to some projects that we have pushed to the back burner on
both Paraclete and family fronts.

The bills are now in for Shelly’s hospital
stay. Even though I used to manage an insurance plan for another mission,
it is hard to believe the cost. One way of describing it is more than
$1,000 an hour for the hospital stay! Our responsibility is only our
$6,000 deductible. Pray with us for provision and wisdom in negotiating
our way through this.
