In mid-May I finished my Spring speaking schedule, closing out a large Spanish ladies’ Bible study! It was SUCH fun and felt like being “home” with my ladies in Ecuador and Miami! I hope to be able to study with them, as my ministry schedule permits, when they start up again in the Fall.
We don’t have any public meetings scheduled until July which will give us a chance to catch up on other Paraclete responsibilities. We’re interviewing and working on the applications of new applicants nearly every day. God is bringing some amazing people to join our team of significant associates!
In July we’ll be in the Boise, Idaho area where we will, once again, train Missionary Aviation Fellowship’s Missionary Candidates in Cross-Cultural Communications. It’s something the two of us love doing together! The end of July, I have a Kitchen Table Counseling Seminar scheduled as well.
| Culver and Karen |
We have four weddings this summer between Memorial Day and Labor Day. We look forward to celebrating the union of some very special couples! Our son Culver and his fiancé, Karen, will be married on June 18—a busy Sunday for our family with, Father’s Day, my birthday and my parent’s 67th wedding anniversary! The two grandpas (Karen’s Grandpa and my dad) will perform the ceremony!
The end of June we hope to be able to visit our Grandson, Conor (who is now 8 years old!), before he and his family move to Wisconsin. We hope to squeeze a camping trip and some down time in before Labor Day!
Our Fall schedule has filled up quickly and we look to the Lord for His grace, strength and wisdom to wisely steward our time and resources for His Glory!
