Paraclete's "quasi-annual" (18 mo) retreat was a great time of refreshment, fellowship and networking. We were in the quiet setting of Living Water Retreat Center in Cornville (near Sedona), Arizona April 11 - 15. The Paraclete board met the day before associates arrived. The first thing that the veterans noticed was that our group had grown. We were at the same conference center three years ago. Have a look at the photo from 2009 compared to this year's picture taken in the exact same location. Ten people were at the 2012 retreat, but not in the photo! By the time we are ready for another gathering, we probably will no longer fit into Living Water!

The theme of the retreat was "Knowing Each Other." All the new associates made for a lot of new connections and a lot of excitement. As we add new associates, the possibility for joint ministry increases, the total come-alongside impact grows and we become more financially stable. Of course, there are some growing pains too. :>)
