Prayer

Sorry we haven't been on the blog in a long time.  Life is full.  :>)  I've been preparing a list of prayer request and praises for Paraclete every week, and (at the promting of a friend who wondered if we had fallen off the map) I've decided to at least post the prayer material on a regular basis.  Here goes for this week...

·         I (Glen) have a telephone board meeting with Bridge Builders International Wednesday evening.  Pray for discernment in decisions and productivity on the call.

·         We're finishing up last touches and sending the Perspective newsletter and a recruiting brochure to the printer this week.  Pray that the Lord's hand will touch every detail of this communications effort.

·         Shelly's fall speaking begins at Glen Eyrie on 9/16.  Ask the Lord to multiply her time in preparation.

·         Thank the Lord with us for an overall "good" financial month for Paraclete.  Unfortunately our general fund suffered a loss because of one-time and occasional expenses that fell in August.  Ask the Lord to keep us strong in that core account.

·         We need a breakthrough in how we are managing email and online collaboration between Arizona, Colorado, and Idaho (Debbie Bochman).  I've put a good bit of time into this with not a lot to show for it.  Ask the Lord for full understanding and an economical solution.

·         Pray for Sturdivants and another couple.  They are ministering to a Middle Eastern community in Austria this coming weekend.

·         Pray for a friend in our home group who suffered a brain injury 3 years ago.
