Miami

I (Glen) participated in board meetings for COICOM last weekend. Nine of us came together in Miami from four countries and Puerto Rico. Thanks to Granada Presbyterian Church for loaning us facilities! We got the final report on the event last November in Bolivia (see the story below), as well as the year-end report on 2005. It was a tumultuous year for the organization because of a leadership change, but we are well-poised to move forward. The main topics at the meeting were finalizing the leadership transition with some structural and governance changes, and planning for the 2006 convention in El Salvador. It was great to see some friends between meetings. Miami is the place to be in December! It was 80 degrees there on Saturday! I really didn't mind the 19 this morning in Colorado Springs.
